** About the Role

** Special Education Teachers**! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in a
** center-based autism classroom in Mead, CO**. In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students with autism. You'll work alongside a collaborative school team and a supportive, therapist-run company.##

** What You'll Do
*** Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
* Provide specialized instruction in a center-based autism classroom
* Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
* Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
* Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
* Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
* Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
* Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
* Use evidence-based strategies and resources to support student growth##
** What We're Looking For
*** Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
* Fingerprinting as required for the position
* Experience working with students with autism preferred
* Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
* School-based experience preferred, but not required##
