Structural Engineer Aviation Projects

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Lakewood, Colorado, office and play a key role on our nationally recognized Aviation team
. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including international terminals, regional airports, aircraft hangars, flight training centers, and general aviation facilities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead projects with budgets ranging from $10K to $1M+, manage multidisciplinary coordination, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients. • Lead engineering and technical staff to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Coordinate structural design efforts both internally and with external consultants.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
• Serve as the main client and contractor liaison throughout design and construction.
• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth and development.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive structural engineering experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills that support the company's long-term success.

• Experience managing projects from initial design through project completion.
• Strong internal and external communication skills.
• Advanced project management abilities, including schedule and budget oversight.
• Ability to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
