BAS Design Engineer Supervisor – Tryg Group, LLC – Lakewood, CO
Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 per year.
Work hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm.
We are looking for a BAS Design Engineer Supervisor to join our team. The role involves designing and programming building automation systems (BAS), troubleshooting system issues, conducting system testing and commissioning, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project managers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also provide training and support to end-users and technicians and stay current with industry trends.
Job Responsibilities- Design and program BAS solutions using various protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify functionality.
- Develop and maintain documentation for programming and system configurations.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand system requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users and technicians.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in building automation technology.
- Any other duties as the Director of Operations sees fit.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent with at least 5+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, and Lighting Control design.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Self‑motivated with ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Hands‑on experience with HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning, and/or chillers.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning and/or systems diagnostics/troubleshooting.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
