Plant Health Care Specialist
We are seeking a devoted Plant Health Care Specialist to join our team role involves inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues that trees and shrubs may face. The specialist works outdoors and visits beautiful properties in the community.
OverviewThe Plant Health Care focus is on ensuring the health and well‑being of trees and shrubs on a client’s landscape in a specific territory. This involves monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and/or disease infestations occurring on the property. The specialist selects the most appropriate product or treatment for each problem, interacts with clients, educates them with written diagnostic reports, and ensures complete customer satisfaction.
Whowe are looking for
- Desire to grow, craving opportunity, loves problem‑solving and process improvement
- Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turf‑grass or similar experience preferred
- Responsibility and independence to work autonomously
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs
- Tree/Plant identification
- How to safely and properly use spray and application equipment
- Willingness to complete required trainings to obtain needed certifications & licenses
- Desire to work outdoors
- Valid driver’s license to operate service‑line vehicles
- Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

This position pays between $20–$25 per hour (depending on experience) plus benefits, PTO, and 401(k).
