Senior Auditor​/Senior Accountant

Holman Frenia Allison, PC, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (HFA) is headquartered in Central New Jersey. The firm services a diverse client base within the tri-state area providing highly personalized and comprehensive accounting, audit, tax and business consulting services.

Skills:

• Take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion.
• Supervise and mentor staff, building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Produce quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service.
• Utilize technical, time-management, and organizational skills to perform services within budgeted time.
• Draft schedules, notes, opinions and comments for the audit report.
• Monitor staff performance on jobs.
• Reconcile client records to trial balance, including analytical procedures and schedule computations for prepaid, accruals, property, equipment, and depreciation expense.
• Make scheduling adjustments as needed.
• Use the firm’s software programs to automate the process from trial balance and financial statements.
• Perform other accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting duties as needed in engagements.

Applicants Must Possess The Following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA eligible required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience running audit engagements. Not-for-Profit and Governmental entities preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Experience with Prosystem fx Engagement preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations required.
