Benefits Specialist

We are working with a client to hire a Benefits Specialist to support brokers and clients across employee benefits programs. This role serves as a liaison between clients, brokers, and insurance carriers, supporting plan analysis, renewals, and ongoing account management.

• Support clients, brokers, and carriers with day-to-day benefits servicing
• Analyze insurance plans and manage RFPs (open market, self-funded, level-funded, PEOs)
• Review commissions, claims, and utilization data to support recommendations
• Assist with CRM and quoting tool implementation, including UAT and training support
• Prepare renewal and application documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support client communication related to claims, renewals, and plan changes
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates

• Experience in benefits or insurance preferred
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Familiarity with CRM/HRIS platforms
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
