Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of accounting experience (home care, healthcare, or multi-entity preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial compliance
Experience with payroll, billing, and reimbursement models (Medicaid/Medicare a plus)
Proficiency in accounting systems and payroll platforms (e.g., UKG, Quick Books, Sage, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting expertise
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and healthcare-specific financial regulations
Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for the agency
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and business planning
Supervise accounting staff and support operational departments
Coordinate audits and liaise with external accountants and auditors
Monitor reimbursement processes and revenue cycle performance
Implement and improve internal controls and financial procedures
