• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• 5+ years of accounting experience (home care, healthcare, or multi-entity preferred)

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial compliance

• Experience with payroll, billing, and reimbursement models (Medicaid/Medicare a plus)

• Proficiency in accounting systems and payroll platforms (e.g., UKG, Quick Books, Sage, or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting expertise

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and healthcare-specific financial regulations

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for the agency

• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and business planning

• Supervise accounting staff and support operational departments

• Coordinate audits and liaise with external accountants and auditors

• Monitor reimbursement processes and revenue cycle performance

• Implement and improve internal controls and financial procedures
