Shift: Day

• Performs routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards.
• Assists in maintaining QA and PI functions; follows infection control practices (hand washing, universal precautions).
• Reviews last mammography exam in the PACS system and reports in the RIS; consults radiologist and/or others as needed.
• Maintains technical competency in digital technology related to mammography (Mammography RIS, McKesson technology).
• Accesses and enters computer data for patient information requirements; proficient with McKesson PACS and the Mammography RIS system.
• Assists physicians in coordinating information, materials, and supplies before, during, and after exams.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including cross-coverage for other JWBC facilities.
• Performs DEXA scan procedures and general X-ray as required; knowledge of QC for all mammography equipment.

• ARRT Certification in radiography and mammography
• Valid NJ State licensure
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Compliance with continuing education credits as required by FDA/MQSA and ACR

• Per Diem scheduling
• Day Shift
• Must be willing to cover other JW Breast Center sites as needed
