Serenity Hospice Care is looking for compassionate End of Life Doulas for patients. Serenity Hospice Care has locations all over NJ, in facilities and in their homes. Some locations include Tinton Falls, Brick, Freehold, Newark, Lakewood, Toms River, East Orange, Hammonton, Galloway and others.

Volunteer opportunities include Hospice End-of-Life Doula roles as well as Administrative assistance in our office. We value your time and are willing to accommodate your schedule and location preferences. Volunteers provide conversations, companionship, watching TV, reading, gentle touch, or sharing peaceful moments with patients.

• Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals receiving end-of-life care.
• Assisting with practical tasks such as light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation.
• Offering a compassionate presence to family members and caregivers.
• Respecting and honoring the wishes and beliefs of those in our care.

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo hospice volunteer training and orientation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries.
• Availability for flexible scheduling.
