Overview

The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient experience from the point of entry through to service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of healthcare operations, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership:
    Oversee the Patient Access team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Operations Management:
    Develop and implement processes and protocols to enhance patient access, including scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
  • Customer Service:
    Foster a culture of exceptional patient service, addressing any concerns or complaints and ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Data Management:
    Monitor and analyze access metrics, reporting on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with clinical staff, financial counselors, and other departments to ensure smooth transitions for patients through the healthcare system.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all operations adhere to regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to patient access and confidentiality.
  • Training & Development:
    Develop training programs for staff to enhance skills related to patient registration, insurance verification, and customer service.
  • Patient Outreach:
    Implement initiatives to improve patient engagement and access to care, including community outreach and education programs.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in patient access, healthcare operations, or a similar role, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, insurance processes, and patient access workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and executing projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in project management tools and software.
