Scheduling Requirements:
Day Shift;
Per Diem Scheduling

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients across all age groups (geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, neonatal).
• Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications and IV admixtures; exercise independent decision making where appropriate.
• Offer clinical services such as patient counseling, education, consults, and Medication Therapy Management as needed.
• Identify and report hazardous environments, safety issues, and medical errors to appropriate personnel.
• Perform other assigned tasks as appropriate.
• Demonstrate familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and interdepartmental relationships.
• Complete all orientations and departmental competencies successfully.

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy, or foreign equivalent; BS in Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D required; advanced degree preferred.
• Current registration as a Licensed Registered Pharmacist in New Jersey.
• Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of public health matters.
• Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of Pharmacy.
• Understanding of the role of the Hospital Pharmacy Department within the Hospital and its interrelationships with other departments.
• Successful completion of all orientations and competencies.
