Overview

Commercial Lines Account Executive

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The Account Executive will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring their insurance programs are tailored to meet evolving business needs.

In this role, the Account Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of account management, including policy renewals, marketing, endorsements, and new business opportunities. They will deliver prompt, professional, and client-focused service while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities to strengthen client relationships and drive growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts with a focus on retention and growth.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.

  • Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and other account servicing tasks accurately and efficiently.

  • Market accounts to carriers, negotiate coverage terms, and secure competitive programs for clients.

  • Provide timely, professional, and client-centered service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional coverages.

  • Collaborate with internal team members, underwriters, and carriers to deliver seamless service.

  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulations to best advise clients.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in commercial lines account management or executive-level client service within the insurance industry.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and underwriting practices.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
