Benefits Specialist
We are working with a client to hire a Benefits Specialist to support brokers and clients across employee benefits programs. This role serves as a liaison between clients, brokers, and insurance carriers, supporting plan analysis, renewals, and ongoing account management.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients, brokers, and carriers with day-to-day benefits servicing
- Analyze insurance plans and manage RFPs (open market, self-funded, level-funded, PEOs)
- Review commissions, claims, and utilization data to support recommendations
- Assist with CRM and quoting tool implementation, including UAT and training support
- Prepare renewal and application documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support client communication related to claims, renewals, and plan changes
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates
- Experience in benefits or insurance preferred
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Familiarity with CRM/HRIS platforms
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
