Nurse Manager RN

Overview

CHEMED Health is hiring a full-time Nurse Manager to join the Urgent Care team. This position will require some evening hours and an occasional weekend shift.

• Supporting a clinical practice environment where nursing staff provides exceptional care for the patients.
• Assigning duties to nursing staff, providing appropriate feedback and assessment of care delivered to ensure that patients' safety is maintained.
• Ensuring that staff schedules are consistent with patients' needs and provide accountability to established standards of care.
• Regularly conducting staff meetings to assure that information is disseminated to all appropriate parties.
• Collaborating with off-shift and other administrative personnel to ensure consistency of practice across all three shifts on a continual basis.
• Designing and providing employee training using competencies established by the DON for evaluation of all nursing staff, including use of EMR.
• Assisting the physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician access.
• Functioning as the liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
• Maintaining efficient patient flow.
• Demonstrating telephone triage protocols.
• Adhering to universal safety precautions.
• Checking and maintaining logs for emergency equipment according to policy.

• RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in a Nurse Manager or clinical leadership role, supporting day-to-day clinical operations across diverse teams and settings.
• A minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience (ER, urgent care, or med/surg experience preferred).
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• ECW experience preferred.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
