Position Title:

Waiter/Waitress (Part-Time Seasonal) at Shoretown Ballpark

Pay Range: $15.92 to $15.92

Job Summary

This position is a seasonal, event‑based role, with a duration from April to September. The primary role involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to premium club guests.

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the premium club; take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. As needed, demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
• Communicate directly with back‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
• Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol server’s permit.
