Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor leads store staff when a manager is absent, ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions Management
  • Supervise the store’s crew, assigning tasks, directing work, and following up.
  • Effectively communicate information between store management and crews.
Customer Service
  • Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
  • Promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
  • Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
  • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Merchandise/Presentation
  • Price merchandise.
  • Stock shelves.
  • Execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
  • Maintain off-shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
  • Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
