Maintenance Mechanic

Base pay range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

• Completes projects with little supervision and works to reduce equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces defective mechanical parts.
• Operates shop tools and machines such as lathes, grinders, welders, and drill presses.
• Installs and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Operates forklifts and lift platforms safely.
• Orders parts and maintains accurate inventory records.
• Keeps maintenance logs and other required documentation up to date.
• Follows all safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
