Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer to support our governmental & commercial clients. This individual will work on site designs according to codes & construction budget for public and commercial projects. Will also perform city engineering services to local municipal clients. This engineer will interface with managers, architects, clients, contractors and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be resourceful & thorough and have a passion for great architecture.

Need to be able to help foster long-term client relationships through exemplary service & dedicated to the belief that projects should be tailored to the client’s needs.

• Performs due diligence investigations for planning & zoning analysis, utility research, environmental & geotechnical reviews, and conceptual construction cost analysis.
• Prepare & review Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans.
• Develops conceptual designs, layouts & technical solutions to comply with each project.
• Prepares construction documents including layout, grading, utilities, storm water management with exceptional detail.
• Makes presentations to clients, planning commission, or local permitting authority, as needed
• Provides construction administration assistance, including drawing review, responding to requests for information, construction observation, and attends job site coordination meetings, as necessary.

• A professional Civil Engineering degree
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Hydraflow or similar hydraulic software
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and reviewing authorities
• Experience in construction of sitework, roadway and utilities
