New Avenues to Independence, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities.

As a Direct Support Professional at New Avenues to Independence, you will support and empower individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives and become active members of their community. This is a chance to make a difference every day.

ICF: $17 per hour

Multiple shifts available. 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM. PT 3rd Shift: (schedule details).

• Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential homes and day programs.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes growth, independence, and self‑determination.
• Plan and engage in meaningful activities, outings, and events to enhance quality of life.
• Promote social and emotional well‑being by building strong, supportive relationships.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with people to complete tasks and build independence.
• Provide support with daily routines such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and attending medical appointments.

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less and valid auto insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Desire to make a difference in people’s lives
