• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Interact with visitors and staff to provide directions and assistance as needed, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Collaborate with site management and emergency personnel during incidents and/or drills as required.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and conditions that may require response or escalation according to site protocols.

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
