Join Vortex Solutions LLC as an Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional customer service and support for our military community.

Responsibilities: (Not limited to) Must have the knowledge and ability to effectively apply core Occupational Therapy functions:

• Coordination: ensures coordination of care delivery processes, including alternate healthcare settings and the home environment; develops and utilizes resources to optimize access to services; ensures timely provision of services.
• Facilitation: coordinates and communicates among all involved parties including OT assistants.
• Advocacy: supports patients and families to ensure timely, appropriate education and care.
• Assessment: proactively identifies and evaluates patients and families for therapy needs from various sources; conducts systematic data collection.
• Planning: develops patient‑specific plans of care with goals, objectives, and therapeutic actions; coordinates approval among team.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of a nationally accredited Baccalaureate or higher degree program in Occupational Therapy.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and hold a state license as an OT.
• Meet continuing medical education requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking English.

Experience:

• At least one year of direct patient care in OT within the last five years.
• Flexible to perform evaluations/treatments in inpatient/acute, psychosocial, outpatient orthopedic/upper extremity settings.

Work Environment: Constant sitting/standing in a designated area.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract.

Pay: $40.00 – $49.03 per hour.
