Job Summary And Responsibilities
As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.
Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare.
- Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort, including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothes, bed making, ambulation, lifting, turning, moving, transferring, skin care and bowel/bladder elimination.
- Performs, monitors, reports and documents all clinical activities within scope of practice; observes and reports changes in patient condition to the RN.
- Assists nursing staff in the admission, discharge and transfer of patient by performing activities such as inventory/storing patient belongings and providing relevant personal care/comfort items.
- Maintains a neat and organized work environment, orders, stocks and replenishes supplies and equipment as necessary, and reports problems with supplies or equipment.
- Maintains a safe work and patient environment, adhering to the hospital’s Safety, Risk Management, Regulatory Standards and infection prevention.
- Participates in quality assurance/improvement initiatives and activities as requested.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program, upon hire or
- Military medical specialty training and, upon hire
- Certified Nursing Assistant: WA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Six months related work experience
- Experience in a hospital setting

Pay Range$22.89 - $32.67 /hour
