Senior Helpers - South Tacoma, a woman-owned and family-operated agency, is proud to serve our local community with high-quality, in-home care that supports seniors in living safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes.

We are currently hiring Certified Caregivers (CNA or HCA) who are dependable, kind-hearted, and committed to enhancing the lives of our elderly clients and their families.

Pay: $20.50 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience and certification)

• Provide hands-on personal care (assisting with walking, grooming, dressing, hygiene)
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offer medication reminders and transportation support (if authorized)
• Engage in meaningful conversation and companionship
• Encourage hobbies and activities that bring joy to the client
• Observe and report any changes in condition or behavior
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members
• Document care tasks using user-friendly tools

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CNA or HCA license (required)
• Minimum 1 Year Of Professional Caregiving Experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and respond to client needs with professionalism
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobility
• Must pass Washington State background checks and exclusion screenings
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to commute within our service area and respond promptly to assigned shifts
• For those providing transportation: valid insurance that meets WA minimum coverage
