CNC Machinist; mill and lathe

Job Description

We are seeking multiple levels of CNC machinists (lathe and mill) to operate and setup precision machining equipment on our second shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm). The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. We offer on the job training to individuals who are ambitious to learn and grow your skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain manual and/or CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
• Document production data and report any defects or equipment issues
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet production goals
