Emergency Veterinarian – Blue Pearl Pet Hospital – Tacoma, WA

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is seeking a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Tacoma, WA. Our 16,000‑sq‑ft, 24/7 emergency and specialty center is equipped with an on‑site MRI, CT scanner, arthroscopy, ultrasound, and a fully staffed intensive care unit.

As an Emergency Veterinarian you will provide compassionate, high‑quality care in urgent situations, perform primary surgical case management (enterotomies, splenectomies, C‑sections, GDV, pyometra, etc.), and collaborate with our onsite Neurologists and Critical Care Specialists. You will also mentor junior clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement.

The Kind Of Person We’re Excited To Work With
  • DVM or VMD degree with a valid state veterinary license.
  • Committed to emergency care; self‑directed learner with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent decision‑making, analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high‑volume environment.
  • Experience with Google Apps for Work and Cornerstone Practice Management is a bonus.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable with digital platforms.
Compensation and Sign‑On Bonus
  • Base + Production Compensation Range: $160,000 – $250,000.
  • Relocation assistance.
  • Sign‑on bonus up to $100,000.
  • No non‑compete clause.

This position is eligible for production compensation with no negative accrual. Production is paid quarterly.

Pay Range Disclaimer:
The compensation range includes average base plus production. Blue Pearl also offers ancillary benefits such as shift and weekend differentials. These may vary by region and hospital; discuss specifics with your interviewer.
