Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is hiring Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

Awards:
This position is eligible for qualified candidates to receive up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus or relocation pay.

Day, Swing or Overnight with weekend availability.

LVT II Pay: $27.25 - $38.80 / hour.

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

• Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Advanced Radiographs
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

Includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. CE allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals get an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates get 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates get 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours.

Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
