As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security‑related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing clear communication, and delivering outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors.

Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Perform access control duties to regulate entry and exit of individuals, vehicles, and/or materials at the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support the continuity of operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents occurring during the shift.
• Collaborate with site staff and management to address security‑related matters and assist with emergency procedures as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
