As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lakewood, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers and staff. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
