Position: Construction Crew Member / General Labor

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading trucks in preparation for job sites, performing installation duties on-site, and unloading and cleaning trucks upon return to Terra Firma. You will support the company's purpose, mission, and values throughout your work.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely, accurately, and efficiently load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the Foreman and Production Manager.
  • Navigate and perform tasks within crawlspaces, basements, and other confined spaces, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform installation tasks following the Foreman's instructions, utilizing approved methods and standards, and meeting timelines.
  • Manage Terra Firma property responsibly, including products, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate Terra Firma vehicles safely and courteously, following traffic laws and company policies.
  • Maintain reliable on-site attendance for smooth project execution and teamwork.
    • Education and Experience Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in construction or a related trade, with knowledge of industry practices, tools, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in constricted environments like crawlspaces and basements for extended periods.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and more with assistance; able to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Preferred: experience with construction processes, tools, safety, and operation of construction equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license (or CDL) with a safe driving record.
