Paratransit Non-CDL Driver – Transdev North America

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in Lakewood, WA. You will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• $20.61 - $25.85 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
• Starting pay $20.61 with progression to $25.85 over 6 years

• Safety-focused operations: follow designated routes and schedules, comply with safety protocols and traffic regulations
• Passenger care: assist passengers, ensure smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation
• Vehicle vigilance: conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance
• Other duties as required

• 21 years or older
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible work schedule and shifts as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physicals if applicable; 49 CFR Part 40 compliance

• Work outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions; sedentary and intermittent standing
• Sit for extended periods; walk long distances; navigate sloped or uneven surfaces
• Lift up to 50 lbs; push/pull objects; bend/kneel/crouch as needed
• Ability to work in high-traffic areas with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise
