CT & X-Ray Technologist

Lamar, CO

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors to produce high-quality radiographic images for diagnosis and treatment
• Evaluate each image for proper exposure and positioning, applying independent judgment and technical skill
• Schedule exams and provide patients with appropriate preparation instructions
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Adapt to emergency situations and changing conditions while exercising independent decision-making

• ARRT registration required
• Must hold active CT registration through ARRT
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment weighing 20 pounds or more, with or without assistance
• Manual dexterity required to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity necessary to receive feedback and information from patients

• Experience performing both CT and general X-Ray examinations in a clinical setting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic imaging environment
