* General Description:
** - Join our team as a skilled Imaging/Radiologic Technologist! - Utilize your technical expertise to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures using ionizing radiation.
- Employ independent judgment to deliver high-quality radiography for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- ** Responsibilities:** - Perform CT and X-Ray examinations with precision.
- Produce radiographs using appropriate technical factors and evaluate films for proper exposure and positioning.
- Schedule exams efficiently and instruct patients on necessary preparations.
- Set up and organize radiographic procedure rooms meticulously.
- ** Accountability:** - Report directly to the Imaging Services Manager.
- ** Special Demands:**
- ** Mental:** - Exhibit excellent communication skills with diverse groups, including employees, physicians, visitors, patients, and administration.
- Adapt to dynamic work situations and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
- Handle varying personalities with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- ** Physical:** - Display flexibility in adapting to continually changing conditions.
- Must have the manual dexterity required to operate complex equipment.
- Capability to lift and move patients, as well as maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Agility for frequent position changes is a must.
- Required visual and hearing acuity to effectively interact with patients.
- Engage in periods of stooping, standing, bending, moderate lifting, and patient care tasks.
- ** Shift Information:*
* - Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - No call requirement
