American Traveler is hiring a CT & X-Ray Technologist with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification and at least 3 years of experience for a weekend shift assignment.

• Diagnostic imaging department performing both CT and X-Ray examinations
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No call requirements

• ARRT registry graduate with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Ability to lift and move patients with or without assistance and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and adapt to emergency situations

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations including producing radiographs, evaluating exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, and instructing patients on exam preparation
• Set up and organize imaging rooms for radiographic procedures
• Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
• Requires strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Must be able to problem-solve and adapt to continually changing conditions
