American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Day Shift assignment requiring inpatient experience and at least 4 years of experience.
Requirements- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- State license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 4 years of experience required
- Inpatient experience required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Bilingual capabilities helpful
- Inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
- Patient population spans all ages from newborns to the elderly
- Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Work performed in a newly built Rehabilitation Gymnasium
- Implement patient interventions under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist
- Collect data related to interventions and modify treatment as directed to progress or ensure patient safety and comfort
- Reports directly to the Rehabilitation Manager
- Requires astute communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, administration and the public
- Must be able to operate equipment, perform technical procedures, and communicate professionally
