Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist with ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 3 years experience.

• Minimum of 3 years experience required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate with ARRT Registry
• Active state license required if applicable
• Ability to lift and move patients and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or more
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity to receive feedback from patients

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations
• 4x10 hour shifts, 10:00 AM-9:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
• No call requirement
• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, evaluate films for proper exposure and positioning, schedule exams, instruct patients on exam preparation, and set up procedure rooms
• Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
• Requires strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and provide quality, sensitive patient care
• Ability to work independently, adapt to emergency situations, and make sound judgment calls
