Location:

Cardigan & Lampeter area (Priory Vets Cardigan, Cardigan & Steffan Veterinary Services, Lampeter). Salary up to £70,000 DOE. Relocation allowance up to £5,000.

Priory Vets Cardigan & Steffan Veterinary Services, Lampeter has an exciting opportunity for an experienced full-time farm vet to join our friendly team in Cardigan and Lampeter. We serve the local farming community with a mix of dairy, beef, sheep, equine, smallholder work and TB testing, supported by a dedicated team.

You’ll be part of a supportive group of 6 farm vets, 2 vet techs, and an excellent support team. The out-of-hours (OOH) rota is essential, with another farm vet available by phone if needed. OOH work is paid in addition to salary at a competitive rate.

• Provide farm veterinary services across a mixed caseload: dairy, beef, sheep, equine, and smallholders.
• TB testing as part of routine duties.
• Participate in the out-of-hours (OOH) rota and be available for urgent field calls.
• Collaborate with a team of farm vets, vet techs, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.

• Experienced full-time farm veterinarian or equivalent with a track record in farm practice.
