About the role
As a Business Support Officer, you will support the Registered Care Manager and the wider care team in day‑to‑day duties within the Thornton Residential Care Home. You will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and maintaining high data quality. As the first point of contact for service users and partners, you will provide a friendly and professional service that directly impacts the quality of care and creates a welcoming environment for our residents.
Key responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support in a fast‑paced environment.
- Remaining organised and maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems to maintain electronic and manual filing systems to meet business and statutory requirements.
- Reviewing, cleansing, and maintaining high‑quality data within established systems and processes.
- Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Acting as a proactive problem solver, using initiative to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
