About this job

An exciting post for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join the Bed Management and Patient Flow Service.

Working as part of a team the post holder will support the provision of a high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Leadership Team and wider network when required.

You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills with an accomplished secretarial background.

The ability to manage your time, organise and prioritise your workload is essential to the role.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues and to respond to queries within and outside of the organisation in a professional and empathetic manner using your own judgement and decision making skills.

You must be able to clearly and accurately convey information verbally gathered via the telephone and from both verbal and documented reports.

The post holder will have responsibility for meeting scheduling, minute taking and general administration for the Leadership Team within this Service.

We are looking for a candidate with a positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude, who is comfortable with changing priorities and multi-tasking.

They ideally will have proven administrative experience including maintaining office systems and experience of Microsoft Outlook diary management, together with a track record of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Ideally, you will have NHS administrative experience to help you in understanding the organisation context and experience of supporting a Leadership Team in a large organisation.
