We are looking for a confident and reliable administration officer to join our Parking Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing excellent support services to our residents and communities.

This is a non-customer facing, back-office role based in a small, yet busy team, within Parking Services. This is an office-based role, and working hours are 37hrs, over 5 days, Monday to Friday, and flexible working is available between 8am and 6pm.

As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support for the processing of Penalty Charge Notices, permits and parking enforcement across the borough. You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with excellent digital competence and proficiency. The role involves managing a varied workload, where the ability to multitask, and prioritise effectively, is essential.

We are looking for a skilled administrator who can carry out a wide range of clerical duties. These will include typing, word processing, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, photocopying, printing, filing, and updating records and information systems, both manually and digitally, to support service delivery.

The role may also include practical responsibilities such as supporting the locking and unlocking of buildings and supporting our Civil Enforcement Officers to ensure that the service is operating within the legislative processes.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, to complete daily tasks efficiently. You will have a friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to engage positively with people of all ages from diverse communities.
