Job Overview

Provide a comprehensive appointment and reception service for imaging examinations for all wards and departments at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, GP’s and all other users of the service. Ensure waiting list targets are met, highlight progress and any anticipated problems associated with meeting the targets.

• Provide appointment and reception services for imaging examinations.
• Ensure waiting list targets are met and highlight progress and any anticipated problems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer care.

• Motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proven record of working within a clerical environment, having undertaken first‑line administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Knowledge of the Radiology Department and Radiology Information Systems is an advantage (but not essential).
• Previous NHS experience is also useful.

Training on specific hospital systems will be provided.
