Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm – (1 hour lunch)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join our client in the Preston area.

Our client is a main dealership based in the Preston area and they are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join their high-performing team. This is a fast-paced role and a nice busy aftersales department. The successful candidate will have previous experience within the Aftersales department.

The Service Advisor role requires someone who is well organised, has good attention to detail, is customer focused, and confident in speaking with people over the phone and face to face. Our client offers a friendly working environment and supporting team, along with progression opportunities.

Responsibilities of Service Advisor:

* Booking in vehicles for service, maintenance and repair.

* Greeting customers and processing all necessary documentation prior to work commencement.

* Keeping customers informed as work is progressed on their vehicles.

* Explaining the need for any additional work identified on the vehicle.

* Obtaining authorisation for any additional work identified.

* Actively marketing specific aftersales products to customers.

* Raising invoices on the completion of the agreed work.

* Ensuring that vehicles are completed and returned in the required time scales.

* Handing back vehicles and providing a detailed summary on completion.

* Liaising with the workshop and other internal departments.
