Our client, a reputable family-run independent garage based in Blackpool, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their well-established team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional looking to work in a busy, customer-focused environment. As a key member of their workshop, you will be contributing to maintaining the garage's high standards of vehicle repairs and servicing.

• Competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £38,000, dependent on experience

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
• Identify faults accurately and diagnose vehicle issues efficiently
• Perform general maintenance such as brake replacements, suspension work, engine repairs, and replacements
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and safety standards
• Manage workshop workflow effectively to meet customer deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Assist with MOT testing if qualified; training can be provided
• Contribute to a team environment focused on high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester within a busy garage environment
• Qualifications in motor vehicle technology preferred but not essential
• MOT Tester licence advantageous; training can be provided
• Confident in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
• Reliable and capable of working effectively within a team
• Living within commuting distance of Blackpool or willing to relocate
