The RoleAs Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the commercial management of specialist roofing, cladding, and façade projects
- Supporting the preparation of subcontractor enquiries, procurement, and contract documentation
- Assisting with applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Producing quantity take-offs and assisting with cost reporting and CVRs
- Monitoring project costs and supporting budget management
- Working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and operational teams
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Assisting with identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation
- Developing your commercial knowledge through structured mentoring and on-the-job training
- A degree (or be due to graduate) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline
- A genuine interest in pursuing a commercial career within the construction industry
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous
- Competitive basic salary of 28,000 - 35,000
