Opportunity: Site Supervisor

Rate: Negotiable and Competitive
Duration: 6 months +

We are seeking an experienced Highways Site Supervisor to oversee road resurfacing works across the Lancashire area for a period of 6 months.

You will be responsible for supervising 3–4 live sites, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Acting as the client’s representative on site, you will monitor contractor performance, undertake inspections and maintain accurate site records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance and progress.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with contractors, residents and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and report on progress.
• Ensure traffic management is implemented safely.
• Experience supervising road resurfacing or civil engineering works.
• Good understanding of construction methods and health and safety legislation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
