Pay: £140 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Skelmersdale who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape pupils' academic and personal development during a key phase of KS2. The school are seeking a teacher who can engage learners, raise achievement, and bring creativity and structure to the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners, including SEND.

Assess, track and report on pupil achievement and progress.

Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring classroom atmosphere.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues across KS2.

Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations and whole-school activities.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.

Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.

Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

Ability to adapt teaching approaches to support all learners.
