Early Years Teaching Assistant

Overview

Aspire People are in partnership with a Primary School in the Oldham area, currently seeking a Teaching Assistant for a long-term role.

You may be responsible for:

• Leading groups of children in the absence of their teacher.
• Facilitating reading and writing sessions.
• Demonstrating effective behavioural management skills.

Full-time: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role is ongoing, lasting until the end of the academic year and possibly beyond.

• Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in an Early Years setting.
• Enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.
• 2 years’ referencing taken up when registering with Aspire People.
