Assistant Youth Support Worker | Early Help | Hyndburn and Ribble Valley | Part Time

Salary: £24,786 – £27,631 per annum. Permanent, 9 hours per week.

We are seeking enthusiastic, organized, and passionate individuals to support our sessional activities each week. Successful applicants will assist with the delivery of evening sessions across Hyndburn and Ribble Valley, primarily in one of our three centres – Accrington, Longridge, and Clitheroe. The post comprises 9 hours, equating to approximately three evening sessions per week, with occasional variation during half‑term holiday activities.

The Service plays a key role in the prevention and early intervention/early help agenda for Lancashire County Council, providing high‑quality informal education opportunities that promote personal and social development for young people. Through motivational youth work, we help young people learn about themselves, their communities, and the world, enabling them to make positive changes.

• Assist with the planning and delivery of evening youth sessions.
• Provide support during centre‑based activities and holiday programmes.
• Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment for young people.
• Record attendance and support the supervision of sessions.
