Are you an experienced KS2 practitioner ready to take on a dynamic Year 6 class in a supportive primary school in Preston? This well-led school is seeking a confident, engaging teacher who can make an immediate impact on pupil progress as the class enters a crucial stage of their learning.

The Role:

Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
Planning, teaching and assessing in line with the KS2 curriculum
Preparing pupils effectively for end-of-year expectations
Creating a positive, calm and purposeful learning environment
Working closely with SLT, support staff and parents
Long-term role with a real chance of a permanent appointment

What the School Is Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of Upper KS2 curriculum, especially Year 6 standards
Confident classroom management and high expectations of behaviour
Ability to build strong relationships and motivate learners
Someone reliable, proactive and ready to make a difference quickly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
