Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 4:00 pm

Reeson Education is working in partnership with an innovative specialist education provider to recruit an exciting Intervention Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across multiple sites in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and support technology‑led interventions.
  • Input and maintain pupil profiles and intervention data.
  • Adapt and personalise intervention programmes to meet individual needs.
  • Deliver additional interventions such as emotional regulation, social skills, anger and anxiety support.
  • Observe sessions and provide feedback to SEND teams and school staff.
  • Support staff with implementation and best practice.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to reports and outcome tracking.
  • Travel between sites when required.
  • Work collaboratively with SENDCOs, teachers, therapists, and families.
  • Maintain accurate records including EHCP and provision documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting pupils in education or SEND settings.
  • Confident using technology and digital platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet learner needs.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Passion for improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
  • Willingness to work across multiple sites.
Desirable
  • Background in SEND, intervention, mentoring, or support roles.
  • Experience with data‑led interventions and progress tracking.
  • Confidence delivering structured programmes independently.
  • Proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach.
