Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Psychology Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire.

This is a full-time temporary role starting in February, teaching first year A-Level Psychology, for ongoing cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A-Level Psychology teacher or lecturer to inspire and support learners studying Psychology at post-16 level.

The Role

As a Psychology Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across A-Level Psychology, supporting learners to develop a strong understanding of key psychological theories, research methods and core content required for exam success and progression.

You will play a key role in curriculum delivery, assessment and learner achievement.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for first year A-Level Psychology
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Prepare learners for assessments and examinations
- Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A relevant qualification in Psychology (degree level or above)
- Proven experience teaching A-Level Psychology
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the A-Level Psychology curriculum
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A learner-focused, inclusive approach to teaching
